Meet Trudy
Hi, I'm the founder of Love & Beyond.
​
Before starting this business, I spent years working as a waitress, where I learned the importance of kindness, hard work, and making people feel welcome. After marrying my husband, I embraced a new chapter of life on the farm. Farm life taught me patience, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in nature and the changing seasons.

Those experiences inspired the heart of Love & Beyond.

I've always believed that the most meaningful gifts come from love and thoughtfulness. Combining my appreciation for natural beauty with my passion for creating, I began designing handcrafted candle bouquets that capture the elegance of fresh flowers while offering the warmth and lasting charm of candles.

Every bouquet is carefully made by hand with attention to every detail because I know that each arrangement is more than just a gift—it's a way to celebrate life's special moments, express gratitude, offer comfort, or remind someone how much they are loved.

I'm the co-owner of Love and Beyond, and I'm so happy you're here.

For most of my adult life, I've worked for large retail companies. While I'm grateful for everything I've learned along the way, I've always dreamed of building something of my own. I've always loved crafting and creating beautiful things, but I never really knew where to start, and if I'm being honest, I was too scared to take that leap on my own.

Recently, I took a leap of faith and moved from city life to the small town of Raymond, Washington. After spending my whole life in the city, it was a huge change, but it quickly became one of the best decisions I've ever made. Slowing down, embracing a simpler way of life and being surrounded by nature has brought me a sense of peace, happiness, and fulfillment that I never knew I was missing.

Not long after, my wonderful mother-in-law, Trudy, started Love and Beyond and invited me to become a co-owner. I couldn't have been more excited. It felt like the opportunity I'd been hoping for—a chance to turn a lifelong dream into something real while building it alongside family.

The joy and sense of fulfillment I've found in stepping away from the corporate world and creating beautiful handmade pieces has been something I never expected. Every product I make reminds me that sometimes the biggest changes lead to the most rewarding experiences, and I feel incredibly grateful to be doing something I truly love.

Today, Trudy and I are proud to run this small family business together, creating handmade gifts with care, creativity, and love. Every candle bouquet, soap, piece of jewelry, and resin creation is thoughtfully made, and we hope each one brings a little joy to the person who receives it.

When I'm not crafting, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our dogs. I also love relaxing with a good video game, watching reality TV, working on diamond art, and enjoying the simple moments at home.

A fun little fact about me—my personal style is actually a bit dark and alternative! But I absolutely love creating soft, feminine, and elegant pieces. There's something so rewarding about seeing someone fall in love with something I've made, even if it's completely different from what I'd choose for myself.
